Dr. Olmstead will discuss why individuals and businesses need a plan for dealing with a pandemic outbreak that would severely impact our lives and our businesses.  She will outline what we should expect if we experience a pandemic outbreak in our lifetime and how we should best respond to it.  She will also focus on disaster planning and provide practical suggestions for minimizing the pandemic outbreak impact on our lives. Cost: AIA Members: $26, Non-Members: $30, Student: $5 (members), $10 (non-members) Please mail your check payable to AIA, PO Box 92995, Albuquerque, NM 87199 by August 31, 2008.  For more information please visit www.abqinternational.org

OCTOBER 31 - FREE PHOTO OF YOUR CHILD IN COSTUME !

Mary J. Mann Photography will be hosting our annual Halloween Fundraiser on Friday, October 31, 2008 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. We will be having a party with treats and in exchange for a blanket (twin size preferably), we will photograph your child in costume and make a 5x7 photograph for you! The fundraiser will benefit Albuquerque Rescue Mission, www.abqrescue.org. This fine organization has been serving the homeless in Albuquerque since 1954. They need many things. Our goal is to get as many twin sized blankets as we can. There is a great need as winters in Albuquerque get colder each year and the number of Americans slipping into economic hardships increases. If you would like to help us, please contact Mary or Paula at 505-889-9608 or email us at mary@maryjmann.com. We are located at 10320 Cottonwood Park NW.
