The Chamber offers you employee education and training for your key employees and managers.
Center for Commercialization & Entrepreneurial Training
Working with Technology Ventures Corporation, the Chamber helps members link to monthly classes, which are an intensive “how-to” education on everything from entering the entrepreneurial world, market research, financial management, preparing and presenting a business plan, and operations start-up, monitoring and human resources. Free of charge for members. For an upcoming seminar, click here.
Develop your or your manager’s leadership skills and make an investment in their development. Every year, a group of 40-45 emerging leaders from across the community participate in this 10-month program. Its purpose is to encourage veteran leaders and prepare aspiring leaders to “make a difference” in the economic health and quality of life of our community.
Leadership Albuquerque Alumni Networking Events
The association of more than 1,000 graduates of the Chamber’s Leadership Albuquerque Program offers the opportunity to continue the intellectual growth, fun times, and great friendships through various networking and other special events.
Members join their peers for an exciting day of seminars, discussions, and exploration of personal leadership. Workshops include topics on professional and community development, leadership assessment, and people management. The Community Leadership Award is presented every year at the luncheon.
Volunteers obviously help our community. Providing employees opportunities also enhances their loyalty to your company. Employees are loyal to those companies that they perceive to be committed to their local community. Click here to get involved.
